  1. Hi, After testing I decided my voltage regulator was faulty and needed replacing. On removing the old regulator I found an extra wire attached to the blue wire post and soldered to the right hand terminal (as you look at it) of the regulator. I am no auto electrician - any ideas on why this wire is there ? Do I need to replace and reattach ? photos attached.
  2. Hi, i have a 1982 3.0 SC that needs a full oil change. No idea what was in it before as I have just taken ownership. The world of oil is very complicated and I know there is no right answer. I have the chance to get a good deal on this oil - https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-accessories/engine-oils-and-car-fluids/engineoils/20w50-engine-oil/ has as anyone used this ? any feedback on whether this would be suitable ?
