  1. Hello, I am new here and this is my first post as I have just purchased my first Porsche (pic below) I am really keen to get my son out with me for a drive in my 2000 C2 Cabrio and want to give him a ride this coming weekend. I understand from my searches here that there are floor mounted anchor points for the child seats in the rear on the coupe (under carpet) but NOT for the cabrio?? (I am guessing because of the anti-roll bar mechanism)? My question is for anyone with a Cabrio who has DIY'd or engineered an anchor point for a rear seat mounted child seat. I am across the info for the front seats but I have a wife too and she'll be in the passenger seat. The seat I have in mind is one of the booster style seats, typically for child weighing 18kg + (40lbs)/Age 4 to 8. These generally use the 3 point sash seat belt, but also have a tether/anchor strap. I would be really surprised if someone hasn't already tackled this so any hints or tips most appreciated. Seat type is similar to the one attached. Thanks for letting me into the forum, which is an awesome resource. Cheers Mark (Australia)
