  1. Was out on the Pelican website, looking for some maintenance parts. Saw a listing for the TPMS control module. My 2006 Boxster S, manual didn't have that as an option. Was wondering if I bought the unit, installed it would the TPMS feature work, assuming I purchased tire sensors etc.
  2. Service advice needed. I have 2006 Boxster S, original owner etc. I only have 12k miles on it, the last maintenance I had was the 60K, dealer said although miles are low, its old, and that was most appropriate, that was done 2 years ago. I've just replaced the tires, spent $1300 & now am wondering what service should I get. Of course the dealer is recommending 80K service, plus a convertible top service, cooling system flush, transmission flush, alignment flush - all extras he suggested, all told $2900. Because of the new tires, i believe an alignment is in order, so no issue there with that.
  3. Hi. Why go back, is my first question? What head unit do you have? If you want to go back to Porsche head unit, you are talking big $$$$. My Boxster head unit doesnt spit out CD's, a rebuilt repalcement unit is around $3200 + installation. Plus it depends on how the current head unit was installed, wiring-wise? Do you have a Bose system?
