  1. No, none of the dealers or Andial even suggested doing a compression test. The car seems to perform as always, but I'll consider it.
  2. 97 TT with 25000 miles began to smoke occassionally upon start up. Sometimes it last a minute or two and other times heavy smoke for 5 to 10 miles and then subsides.There have been times it would not smoke for months and then out of the blue it starts the same all over again. Two Porsche dealers have not offered a solution. Andial modified turbo oil return lines have not solved the problem. An oil filter, check valve has been referred to as a possible cause, but even after Porsche filters were insalled several times the problem eventually starts up again. Any ideas or potential sollutions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Al
