Repair to my 99 C2

Creekman, it isn't too bad, mileage wise, as it is 230,000 km, about 143,000 miles . It is a daily driver as it is driven all year round including winter. The engine is running well except for the AOS leak resulting me in exploring other areas to maintain when the engine is down. The parts from the dealership for RMS isn't too bad .. around $138. Labour is about 2-3 days. The water pump was replaced recently ... about a year ago. I can indeed ask my mechanic to perform a leak down test. -
I’m getting work done to my 99 C2 at the end of the month. It all started off with a coolant leak traced to the AOS. My mechanic also traced a slight oil leak from the RMS which he recommended having to fix when he has to drop the engine to replace the AOS. Apparently, he stated that C2 with Tiptronic requires having the transmission be disassembled from the engine and dropped in order to access the RMS and AOS. I have over 230K on the car and another concern hanging on my shoulder is the IMS as it has never been replaced. He suggested replacing it which I agreed. I’ve purchased the LN Engineering Retrofit kit. The following are the parts which I’ve purchased for the repair: Air Oil Separator: 996-107-023-55 RMS: (Porsche Dealership assembled the parts list needed for the RMS replacement) 0PB-105-249: Shaft seal (1) 999-385-004-01: Crankcase Bolt - Flywheel Side (4) 900-385-093-01: Bolt for Intermediate Shaft Flange (3) 999-073-092-02: Flywheel Bolt - Crankshaft to Flywheel (8) 9A7-004-076-00: Bolt - Flywheel to Clutch Pressure Plate (6) 996-105-112-01: Seal for Intermediate Shaft Flange (1) 999-707-571-40: O-Ring for Intermediate Shaft (1) 900-123-147-30: Timing Chain Tensioner Seal (2) 900-385-275-01: Bolt for Intermediate Shaft Flange (6 X 20 mm Torx micro-encapsulated type) (3) 900-067-131-03: Bolt - Flywheel to Clutch Pressure Plate (8 X 16 mm) (6) 999-707-392-40: O-Ring for Intermediate Shaft (7 X 2 mm) (1) IMS: 106-08.4 – Dual Row IMS retrofit kit There have been suggestions replacing the 3 chain tensioners. Are there anything else I should consider replacing ? Thanks.

Hello, I've just replaced the front and rear control arms on my 99 C2. The car now needs a 4 wheel alignment. I'm surrounded by many local garages that does alignments. Should I trust these garages to have the knowledge and the correct specification for Porsches ... or it's best to take it back to the dealer ?
