  1. Hey, good question. Had to go check again [emoji38] The louvres are only “open” in the area where the fan is located and where the Intake for the air box I situated. The rest is closed off. The engine doesn’t really get wet from above as far as I know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yeah that’s right. When you get the airbox out there’s actually pretty good access to stuff. I had the A/C out too and then there’s a lot of space underneath the intake. Which reminded me I took some pics of that out of the way as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hey Just checked and mine is like the below pic. Two aluminium intakes connected with a rubber plenum at the “front” where the throttle body is mounted and then also a ribbed rubber boot between cyl 3 and 6. Not much room to take pics, but here’s mine. You can just see the ribbed boot. Also see the ribs here. So, much to my surprise it’s not one piece of aluminum. As for the center radiator mine does not have that either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. If you hadn’t written that about the 40 Jahre I would’ve said the plenum was all aluminum, but now I’ll have to check [emoji38] Will be back… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I have the X51 kit from the factory on my C4S. What are you looking for? Pictures with an endoscope or something? Or are you looking for actual measurements? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Hello All I have a 2003 C4S with the X51 kit. The A/C compressor is brand new as the old one had been running without oil for some time (leaky condensers) by the previous owner so it made a horrible noise like sand in a bearing. I also got the leaky RMS changed and did the IMS at the same time. However I have a strange clacking noise coming (I think) from the A/C compressor because it stops when I turn the AC off. Can anyone shed some light on what that could be? Br Klaus Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
