  1. Thanks JFP, I wonder, is there a fusable link between the starter and the battery on this car?
  2. Hello everyone, I'm new on this forum and have a question about an electrical issue I'm having. So I went to buy a new battery and the guy sold me one with the posts reversed. Of course, I should've noticed this, but I didn't. I mounted the leads onto the battery incorrectly for about 15 seconds before I realized something was wrong. There was some black smoke near the back and briefly the presence of the infamous burning electronics smell. Ultimately, the car will not start. Everything seems to be working except that. When I try to turn it over there's a loud repeating clicking sound near the dash area. I uploaded a video with that. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I don't want to take it into a shop before I have an idea of what might be wrong, if that's possible that is. Thanks in advance! IMG956889.3gp
