    Porsche 911 (996) Cabriolet 2000. Blue.
  1. I'm not ordering German or UK parts from USA. This is dealers in UK selling with VAT+shipping included..
  2. I dont think so, then they would simply say so in the list of countries. some dont allow it. You´d be surprised, the infrastructure does work ok here.
  3. if what your saying fits my car, which it could, however min is year 2000 and yours is 2003, it could be that they just added the dual mass flywheel to the year 2000 starting model. then a kit like this would fit: Dual Mass Flywheel + Clutch Kit - Porsche 911 996 1997-2005 WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Accelerator Cables Bonnet Cables Cable Parts Clutch Cables Gear Change Cables. Clutch & Flywheel Parts Guide Tubes & Quadrant Kits Clutch Release Forks Clutch Hoses Clutch Master Cylinders Combined Master & Slave Cyl.
  4. Thanks a million for your answer! Ok im based in Europe. And it seems there should be the "dual mass flywheel". My worry is the clutch kit mainly as the flywheel is intact. do you think the not matching flywheel would be the reason why the seller cancelled my order? (basically the clutch kit would fit, but the flywheel not). They didnt know and their supplier just said they dont have matching clutch+flywheel kit to fit my car. So i dont want to order something that wont fit my car and have to by new one again..
  5. I have been driving my 996 year 2000 cab for probably less than 300km, and the clutch seems to have failed me.. The shop i'm using is very helpful and friendly i must say and they are checking the parts to replace. Situation: Clutch seems to have broken (3 part) While "at it" its recommended to change the flywheel as well. Buying these as package here in Bulgaria is close to €1500 parts only. I found, and ordered this kit, including flywheel: Cost was close to €600 for all parts Porsche 911 3.4 Carrera Complete Clutch & Flywheel Kit 300 Bhp 996 M96 97 - 01 WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Engine Code: M96.01, M96.02. However, the seller refunded my order with this answer after checking my VIN: "I have checked fitment, using the information you have provided, and unfortunately the item you have ordered is incorrect for the vehicle. I have checked with our suppliers and we are unable to supply the correct part for your vehicle. With much regret, I must cancel and refund your order, although this is better than you receiving a part that won't fit your vehicle. You will need to accept the cancellation request that we will send you in the next 24/48 hours via eBay, to complete your refund." While i thank them for checking in advance, im still stuck in what parts to get for my car. The part tools listed in Porsche for Clutch kit: 99711601315 99611602702 99611608004 The parts in the denied order of the ebay seller: denied order: Porsche Clutch OE Number: 996 116 911 00 Porsche Flywheel OE Number: 996 114 012 01 Porsche Flywheel OE Number: 996 114 012 02 Porsche Flywheel OE Number: 996 114 012 03 Porsche Flywheel OE Number: 996 114 012 04 These part nrs seems to be some how associated when i search for original porsche tools on ebay: (oem versions of same?) 6. reply from beckerautosound.com on email: "The 2580 does not have an AUX in its menu. The CR/CDR220 does"
  7. It seems PCM1 does not have an AUX mode. I will be trying this: (basically keeping cd changer connected) Aux input on CDR 220 - Rennlist - Porsche Discussion Forums RENNLIST.COM 996 Forum - Aux input on CDR 220 - I have installed an AUX cable to my C2 2002 but I am having trouble to make the final settings. I have navigation so I guess that means that I have a Becker CDR 220. I have read on several...
  8. I now have the dongle connected on bluetooth. however, the Stereo will not play it.. it just says "no cd player". Is there anyone who knows how to switch to AUX mode on the BE 2580?
  9. I bought a £20 CD-Changer port-> Bluetooth+AUX on Ebay. lets see how it works. supposedly BT 4.0. This will disable my CD-changer but i dont mind. i have a larger library on spotify.
  10. Hi! First post. i hope i did it in the right place. I'm currently looking for an easy way to connect my phone to the stock PCM 1 (becker BE 2580) analog stereo. Currently im using a BT radio transmitter. But it doesn't look nice and sometimes it gets interfered by real radio stations while driving. I have found these options: 1. My preferred option. Manual AUX in which over-rides and disables the CD-changer This i'd like to do, but the guides i've seen on youtube is the PCM1 stereo without NAV, i have the nav version and it seems to include holding TP button for 8 seconds to change it to AUX in. I dont have a TP button on mine and i dont know what other Button to press (no manual) 2. Probably the best solution is the loudlink BT hands free kit. but its $200. 3. I have found the iSimple is31 (pure aux) or isimple bluetooth These seems to be good where as the is31 is only for AUX and the bluetooth also can act as handsfree. But the BT is $100+ and im not sure if i like to spend that much. So question is, anyone did manual AUX input over-riding the cd changer? How did you do it?
