  1. I'm getting DTC P1101 intermittently. Any ideas what this is?
  2. I figured it out. It was connected to the intake/vaccum hose on the top by the plenum. Not sure what sensor it is, but it's hidden....
  3. Installing the plenum in a 996TT. Almost got everything put back but I realized there was a connector I unplugged and can't find where it connects to. It the harness in the engine bay that connects to throttle body, Air Intake temp, Oil temp sensor, and not sure what the last one is?? It's got a metal clip that you have to push in to get out. Where does this connect to? Can anyone identify? Thanks.
  4. I'm upgrading to the 75mm plenum and need a 75mm throttle body =) The porsche dealer doesn't know what size these are.
  5. Did you check for boost leaks? If the sound you hear isn't the engine or muffler, it could be air escaping. If your boost is steady (low) or starts to decrease, it could be a boost leak. At a certain point, the engine will make more air than it leaks out and boost will start to build again. You should get a real boost gauge with memory function so you can review the boost curve afterwards. I had similar problem and found out later that my boost hose was leaking -- the end cap started to come off the rubber hose.
  6. Anyone have a 997NA 75mm throttle body part number? The porsche dealer says there's 2 part number 997-605-115-01 (Standard) and 997-605-116-00 (power pack) Not sure the differences and which is the 75mm part.
  7. Does anyone know the torque spec for the 4 bolts that attaches the throttle body to the Plenum? Also is there a specific torque sequence? Thanks. :renntech:
  8. Loren, Is this the same for 01 TT?
  9. Sweet! Much better than the standard tip buttons. How much did it cost?
  10. Anyone have a picture/description of where to TAP the vaccum line for a boost gauge?
  11. Do we have to reprogram the DME for the 996 if we change from 124 to the 125? I do not see a TSB listed for the 996 regarding the Air Flow Sensor. When I called the dealer to ask, they were not aware of one and he said it would be automatically calibrated after about 1 hour of driving.
  12. Guys, sorry my mistake. The stock one is 124 part number. I ordered the 125.01 and it seems fine so far - no CEL lights.
  13. Help. I ordered a 996TT MAF online and they sent me this part number 986-606-125-01. Will it work on a 996TT or do I need to return it? The original part was 996-606-123-00. Help appreciated. Thanks!
