  1. Hi JFP, thanks a lot for your response! Just thought I would ask the Renntech community because the technical department at LN engineering said it was supposed to be a higher torque but they didn't know what that "higher" torque spec was 😂. There are no exposed threads with the 22 mm nut set up but I will make sure to put some loctite on before torquing down the nut. Thanks!
  2. Hello all, I recently purchased a 99 Carrera C4 with a later Porsche factory replacement engine showing the (AT) engine code. It has the non serviceable larger IMS bearing. From my research, it seems that pulling the bearing seal to allow splash oiling is about the best I can do for current bearing longevity. This has now been done but before it goes back together... Does anybody know the torque for this larger 22 mm nut? There is plenty of information and torque specs available for the original motor but I can find nothing for this Porsche factory replacement. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
