  1. I decided to go with wheels with the proper offset to begin with, so no reply to my specific question is needed. General question of will 987's fit on 986 may still interest others, though. Thanks
  2. I have not been able to answer this question through any posts. It appears this may be a common question now and in the future. Will the 987 wheels fit with or without modifications to the 986? In particular, I am looking at fitting '05 987 BoxsterS wheels to '99 986. Boxster S 18" wheels (Front 8x18-57et (Rear 9x18-43et ) 99 17" turbo wheels (Front 7x17-55et) (Rear 8.5x17-48et) Does it appear they will need spacers? On the front and rear? Suggested spacer sizes? Using the wheel offset calculator I came up with no spacers for the front and 15mm for the rear. Both wheels will extend 11mm further toward the outer wheel wells. Is this is correct? Any help will be appreciated. BobS
