Thanks JE, that's what I thought too. I don't want to break it and create a whole new issue. Guess I'll keep pushing and pulling, but it's just so stupid that something, which sb simple, is so darn difficult...thanks again. -
I've squeezed and tugged, but it refuses to let go! I don't want to break it, so am I missing something?

This is nutz! I hate Porsche connectors with a passion. What sb something simple, is a RPITA. Does ANYONE know how to remove the vacuum line connector that sits under the air intake tube on the right/front of the 3.2 V6? Any help will be greatly appreciated...thanks!

Welcome and nice find/fix. I have the '06 PorC too. Electrical gremlins are the toughest things to troubleshoot. Lucky it was just a loose connector. I have one word for you regarding the shrink butt splices...Amazon! Enjoy your ride!

Thanks Loren! Bummer, I was excited until I read your referenced thread. The "Stealer" wants $300 to "code" the PCM...UGH! Guess an aftermarket HU is worth it since I can get one for the same price as the hour labor for this old, outdated unit. Thanks again for your quick response and for helping sooooo many others.
