  1. Have a 991 with PASM and would like to upgrade and lower the car. A few questions: I read that the only difference between PASM and Sport PASM on the 997.2 was the springs. Is the 991 the same? Is there a ROW setup for the 991? If so what are the differences between the US and ROW setup (I had ROW on my 996 Turbo and loved it)? Does anyone know the spring rates for the stock PASM springs, the Sport PASM springs, and the Techart springs? (Oddly enough Techart Germany refers me to the US dist and they don't know?) Thank you in advance! Roy
  2. Thanks, the dealer replaced part of the harness. I picked the car up this morning, driving it home I got the same spoiler failure warning the first time it went up... Back again... Thanks for your suggestions! Roy
  3. I have the dreaded spoiler failure on my 01 Turbo. The spoiler goes up, generates the error, and will not go down. I can shut the car down, re-start it, and then lower it using the button on the dash. I am told by the dealer that they want to solder a new connector on the harness. I thought I read that PCNA required, or offered, a new harness kit for that. Any answers as to the correct way to fix this would be great! I don't want the dealer soldering on my car unless it's necessary... Thank you. Roy
  4. Hello, I purchased an 01 996 Turbo new and took delivery in April of 01 (VIN: WP0AB29951S686702, build 2/01). I recently purchased a new center console (996.552.125.03) and had it painted polar silver to match the car. When I removed the center console that came in the car (996.552.125 then an "01" over an "02"", it had the hinge for the glovebox molded on the console itself. The new console does not have a hinge. I have called and been to Hennesy Porsche several times trying to purchase the correct parts to match a car that would be built today but they cannot give me current part numbers. The parts that came off my car are as follows: Console Extension - 996.552.227.00 Console - 996.552.125 then an "01" over an "02" Console Lid (glove box lid) - 996.552.305.01 The only part that shows in the Porsche (LEX) Parts Catalog is the console itself, and according to the catalog, the console I purchased is the correct part even though there is no way to mount the console lid. Hennesy has contacted PCNA who said they e-mailed Germany but I still have no part numbers for a current car. My question is, what console parts do I need in order to match a new car? I am aware of the "hinge kit" fix (996.552.960.01) but I would rather have the current factory parts. A assume that the current cars have an updated "console extension" or "console lid" that has the hinge mounted on it. Thanks in advance for any guidance. Roy
