  1. Hi guys, new to the forum as a member, but have enjoyed reading tips here over the years. I'm hoping someone can help with a problem. My 2000 S has been updated with a full used oem glass top from a wrecked 03S. The top fits fine when up, and the clamshell sits down properly when the top is up. But when dropping the too, the glass window and surrounding roof material seem to bunch up, and it isn't flat enough at the end of the drop cycle to allow the clamshell to sit flat. With the roof down, the clamshell is at least an inch up. If I get out and manually push down on the window (performing a "fold" instead of the soft window "chop" LOL), I can get the roof to fold flat enough so that the clamshell sits flat. But it will not work without this manual step. Any thoughts???
