  1. Thanks! The Porsche shop that I go to is an independent. I will make sure to mention your suggestions, which makes sense to me, as I do not want to just keep replacing parts until the problem goes away. Gets costly!
  2. Thank you for the input. I assume that the Porsche shop that I use in Scottsdale has access to that diagnostic equipment. I will make a point of asking them. At this point they originally thought it was the ignition switch, which they replaced to no avail. The issue persisted! Not having sophisticated knowledge about the inner workings of my C4S, I would;d like to resolve the issue without just changing part after part.
  3. 2007 Porsche C4S, Tiptronic, USA Receiving two different messages: 1. Message to "check right front side marker light." A. When checking the R front side marker light bulb is working. B. Message randomly appears. 2. Message that "Parking light is on," the the Check Engine light will be on. A. Parking lights are on when checking. B. A noise alarm appears that is similar to when the seat belt is not worn by the passenger. Both the error message and the noise will continue when I exit and lock the car. The two will continue until I return and restart the car. Your thoughts and/or suggestion are appreciated. Thank you.
