  1. Many thanks, JFP. Appreciate your response. I'll get on to the dealer tomorrow. Cheers.
  2. Hi All, hope I'm not digging up a horse flogged to death... I want to service my 1997 986 "early" type oil cooler (no bleed nipple on top etc), anyone know the oring sizes? Many thanks
  3. Thanks Gents for the replies. I've just done what you've done, Duster. Only got 500ml fluid out then filled up. Will drive for a bit and repeat with remaining new 500ml still in container. JFP, good point. After reading your comment I looked under my 986 and keeping an eye on the PS hose closer to the exhaust headers... not bad but looks like heat is affecting it. I do know you're referring to the heat generated by the PS system though. Both replies good to know.
  4. Hi Guys, can anyone advise / comment on whether (and where) a '97 Boxster base might have a power steering fluid filter? BMW has a filter (albeit simple mesh) in the reservoir... does Porsche do the same? Also, anyone installed an in-line PS filter (good quality on return line)? I looked hard through the topics / articles but may have missed it discussed previously 😕
  5. Only got to try code today... worked perfectly. Many thanks, Loren!!!
  6. Hi folks - just wondering if anyone could help me out re lost radio code. I contacted the local dealership but the code they gave me doesn't work. Nothing shown on Durametric. 1997 Boxster 986 base. In Australia. Radio is a CDR-21 and serial number is VS008976 (or is that V5008976?). "PR-VERS" is R 1097. Does that help? Many thanks!!
