    I would like to be able to adjust my ride height on my 2003 996 Carrera Cabriolet. I would like the front 1 1/2 inch lower and the rear 1 inch lower. Ceika Type 1M and Ksport CP0010-KP are inexpensive. Can anyone recommend them? Thanks.

    I have a CDR23 in my 2003 911 Cab. I plan on replacing the radio. My question is - can the CDR23 be put in a non-Porsche and work? I have a MGTD that I would like to use the radio in. Thanks.

    Wow, 295 is only 1/4 inch wider inside and outside, but it is 1/2 inch taller. So I guess there is more flexibility. I mostly went with the 295 to get the rear tire the same height as the front tire. Thanks for the info.

    Where can I lift with a floor jack to put my car on jack stands? I can't use the lift points because that is where the jack stands need to go. Thanks.

    2003 911 Cabriolet with 19800 miles. Got from a neighbor who is even older than me. Chasing down the little things that need fixing. New tires, battery, mirror adjustments, window down fix, oil pressure gauge going from 5 to zero, others. And the bearing fix.

    I asked for that. I will definitely spend the extra money. Might not make me faster, but I won't be worrying about that @#$% bearing.

    For insurance, I plan to have the IMS bearing replaced even though I have under 20,000 miles. What is latest opinions on the bearing replacement? It is worth an extra $1200 for the oil feed? Thanks.

    That settles it. Keep the 225/40 on front and go to 295/30 on rear. Then they will be almost the same height. Front 25.1 inch and rear 25.0 inch. Thanks for the comments.

    THANKS. I would like rear 295/35 so they are taller than front tires. There appears to be plenty of room for extra height.

    OK, Thanks. Can someone confirm that adding front 1/2 inch width and 1/4 inch height will clear without rubbing when turning? And that adding rear 1/2 inch width and 1.4 inch height will clear? Actually one half those numbers in/out and top/bottom.

    I have a 2003 Cabriolet with 18 inch stock rims. 225/40 front (25.1 inch tall) and 285/30 rear (24.7 inch tall). I would like to upsize slightly to 235/40 front (25.4 inch tall), and 295/35 rear (26.1 inch tall). I looks to me that I will not have any clearance problems, but this is my first Porsche, so I wanted to get advice. As it is now, rear tires look a little small. Plus I read somewhere that Porsche speedos read lower than actual. Thanks.
