  1. My PCM head has had an intermittent fault for some months now. it can work one day without any problem and then next day it will stop and start at random. If you give the trim local to unit a hard tap it will come on again therefore suspecting a poor joint inside head. When working it sounds and plays perfectly. Before repairing I have bought a second hand unit. It powers up perfectly but displays "system error: amplifier not available" I have removed fuses 9 & 10 and have rebooted using 148 on keypad. All functions work but just not sound. I know amplifier is ok as first unit plays fine, albeit randomly when refitted. Stumped what to try next.
