  1. Thanks for your interest. My car is a 2004 911 Turbo Cabriolet that was made for the US market. I'm looking for just the wiring diagram for the lighting circuit as I'm hoping to create a relay circuit to turn on the lights with the ignition. Currently I've installed one that turns on the fog lamps but here in Canada the headlights come on as DRLs.
  2. Hi all. Does anyone know where I can obtain the wiring diagram for the lighting on a 2004 996 TT? I'm hoping to come up with a wiring bypass so that my US model has factory looking daytime running lights (currently set up with fog lights but factory is headlights) up here in Canada. The US model does not have the same wiring in the relay box so it's not just a case of plugging in the double DRL relay as there's nothing there to plug into. Thanks in advance.
  3. When I purchased my 04 Turbo Cab in December it came with the radio in the attached photo. I now see in the manuals there is a CDR23 single din quick reference guide as well as a Cayenne PCM manual but the picture is not the same as what I have. Is there a way of finding out what radio my vehicle came with by serial number? As far as I can tell I have a PCM 2.0 with a part number of 99664223406 but can't say for sure.
  4. Maybe this issue is old news but as it turns out the fuel pressure lines in the tank in my 04 TT Cab had split and not delivering enough fuel to the engine. Thought I'd share in case anyone is going through the same thing. It did not send a code so it was hard to diagnose.
  5. Hi all new member here. I just purchased a 2004 996 TT X50 cabriolet from the US and now have it here in Victoria, BC, Canada. I've converted the fog lamps to DRLs and had heard some talking about using LED bulbs to keep the heat down. I purchased a set of BrightSource bulbs but when I went to install them I noticed the sizeable heat sincs which would require not using the seal for the fog light hole. I did not install them as I don't want to leave this open for moisture to get in and possibly introduce condensation and or dirt. Has anyone gone this route? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
