  1. Thanks for the reply... Unknown unfortunately. Handed down from my father after he recently passed. If it makes a difference, I meant to type that it is an 08 Cayenne S. Time permitting, I'm a weekend mechanic; but after looking at this video it seems replacing the fluid / filter make take a while plus need a fluid pump which I don't have. Video claims clogged filter can lead to shifting issues so could issue simply be resolved by swapping fluid / filter? Also, if I do decide to do myself; would a new gasket be required for the pan or is that a case by case thing? Edit: Seems it isn't much for kit containing filter & gasket so never mind on that part 🙂 Thanks!
  2. Hey Guys - I've got an 06 Cayenne which is having an odd issue. When I first start the car and drive, the transmission is really slow to shift into almost all, but definitely the lower gears. Once the engine warms up, the issue is virtually gone. Tried searching a bit and saw a couple with similar issue being told the issue was more than likely solenoids in the valve body sticking, but nothing definitive. Saw other posts where this was known behavior and the nature of the beast. I barely drive anymore so not a huge issue, but wanted to make sure it isn't something that may get worse. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!
  3. Hey Guys - I've got a 2006 Cayenne which seemingly has the original maps in it as they don't even have the street I live on listed. I'm looking to get new maps online and have read that a firmware update may be required but that its often included on the discs, itself. Seemingly, I have a PCM2 system and the model of the navigation unit is BE6693. The problem is, I've found so many PCM2 versions that I don't know what I need to get! I'd assume that I can only upgrade PCM2 to the latest PCM2 version as PCM2.1+ requires different hardware. Below is some info I noted from my unit. Any information would be appreciated! SW Versions: 4.1 (displayed at top of each page) Unit: PCM - Target 06324AD1/3206 / Actual: 06324AD1/3206 Unit: System Software - Target 06324AD1/3206 / Actual: 06324AD1/3206 Unit: Amplifier - Target 00016457/3804 / Actual: 00016457/3804 Unit: CD Changer - Target C38/3003 / Actual C38/3003 Unit: Navigation System - Target (null) / Actual 00179436/3306 PS: I live in the US 🙂 Thanks!
  4. Hey Guys - Frustrated that my Cayenne didn't have bluetooth, I finally purchased a "iSimple BlueConnect Hands-Free Car Kit" which adds it via a direct antenna connection which I tried to install today. Once I got the navigation unit (be6693) out, I realized that the antenna plus wasn't the same standard one I was used to :(. Since it plugs inline, I assume I'll need two adapters; but cannot find the exact name of the port so not sure exactly what I need. Does anyone know? It would seem something like this would be it, but want to make sure before ordering if possible. Also - when researching, I saw that it's an amplified antenna. Any need to wire differently due to that? Thanks!
