  1. I've got a 2005 and was thinking about getting the PCM 2.1. Someone was selling me a head unit only (just the dash/ monitor part, no antenna, no DVD-rom unit, not even the DVD's). The price I think was very good, but I wanted to know if it would be hard to get the parts number of the things I'm missing. I've got the PET, but it's somewhat confusing. And by the way, it's not "hot", they just prepare cars for shows and they don't go into the hassle of removing all the cables and stuff. Also, does anyone knows how much a new kit will go for, ballpark will do.
  2. Does anyone has any more info on the GTS? I'm interested in changing my 2005 for this one, but not much info still. The dealer told me that productions starts around February, but he still does not have the final list/ prices for it.
  3. I just followed the instructions on the manual. The only thing I can remember was that I think the manual says you have to use an allen and it actually is a star to remove the screws. I found it easy to open up and then just as easy to put it back.
  4. Really easy, as with any other Porsche. Just remove the pin, remove the old pads, insert new pads, reinsert pin, that's it. Took me around 30 min for all four.
  5. I just changed the brake pads on my '05 V6 Cayenne, but the brake pad warning is still on in the display. I accidently broke some of the front sensors, the back ones are fine, so I don't know if this might be the problem. I also have an '05 Boxter which I change the pads and did not re-install the sensors and works fine, no warning. Do I need to reset the warning or do I have to get new sensors? Thanks.
  6. Does anyone knows if the new one for 2007 willl work on older models too? The lease on my Cayenne expires soon and I will be changing it for the new facelifted one, but my 2005 Boxster will stay with me forever.
  7. There one from RUF. Go here http://www.ruf.se/uppgraderingar/Boxster.php and go all the way down, there is a silver one wearing it.
  8. I live in the US, so I tried the online vendors on the vizualogic site, but no good. I will just email them directly.
  9. Did you got it online? I've tried Crutchfiels, but they don't seem to have it for Cayenne. Let me know if there is somewhere online where I can get it. Thanks.
  10. Has anyone seen the Tequipment rear seat entertainment system (Part no. PNA 044 901 01)? Is it good, ease of instalation? Being a Tequipment part, I don't think it will be too cheap when compared to similar aftermarket equipment, but great fitting and don't have to open up the headrest to put in a monitor.
  11. Hi, I recently took my car to a paint shop to cover some scratches and when they returned the car, the steering wheel controls were not working, radio, everything, including the tiptronic. Everything works fine on radio and transmision, but I'm not able to use them from the steering wheel. The guys at the shop said that they had nothing to do with it, since they only worked on the outside of the car. I'm preety sure it's some unplugged cable, but does not where to find it. Does anyone know how to fix/ check this. Thanks.
