  1. Thanks for the PM (will comply). Much more helpful than the picture I was working from. I had to settle on the terminal pair by elimination (ie: no comparable power line to the seat motor terminal from the car). Also, thanks for the pointer to the Technical Information website. Will come in handy at some point.
  2. Loren. Thanks for responding. It's an `05 997s with full power seats. The dealer's service manager showed me the terminals in his book. For future projects, where can I get various wiring diagrams? Thanks again.
  3. Thanks for the tip. What I've found is that the modular connector (yellow) also contains seat belt warning (which is easily traced) and power seat functions for the passengers side. Another lister had the same problem so I don't think it's a faulty mechanism. Apparently the drivers side seat functions are wired from the ECU so I'm going to need a wiring diagram. Thanks again. If you have any leads on where I can get wiring diagrams, I'd like to know.
  4. I recently removed a set of full power/memory seats from my `05 997 and replaced them with manual sport seats. When completed, the tilt function works fine on the passenger side but not on the drivers side. The harness on the passenger side has a single yellow plug while the drivers side harness has a yellow plug plus a pigtail which was plugged into a black box on the old seat. I am assuming this box controlled the power/memory functions and that tilt is a common function powered thru the main harness (ie: yellow plug). There is no comparable box on the sport seat and the plug from the pigtail is not plugged in anywhere. I'll check fuses (again) and look (again) for a socket for the second plug but beyond that, I'm stumped. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.
