  1. Thanks for the info! Currently have the 996 turbo after I traded in the 997 carrera.
  2. At fill up, the lid won't stay open when I place the leash onto the hook on the lid. Does anyone know how to replace the spring on the lid and the part number? Thanks
  3. Sometimes, I'll unlock the car and when I open the door the radio is making a loud clacking sound. I figure it must be the CD player. It only happens every so often for around 5 seconds and occurs with or without a CD left in the player. Any ideas?
  4. I changed my brakes, but broke the sensor- that sensor in the back of the brake is a real bear! Anyways, the sensor has a metal cover over it to prevent it from coming out. Does anyone know how to take the metal cover off? There are these tabs which look like they should rotate down, so that you can pull the cover off, but they don't seem to want to move. Thanks!
  5. Hi, My Motive bleeder overflowed into the trunk. I can remove all the liner, except at the point where it is connected to the emergency hood release. It seems like it is just an electrical connector, but won't pull out. Any suggestions? BTW this is a 997. Thanks!
