  1. Hi Everyone, I have a 1999 996 that has black interior with silver plastic parts. The handles to pop open the trunk, hood, and door release are silver. The silver paint has worn out and you could see the black plastic. I was wondering how to paint these? What is the paint color code to buy. Can I paint over the accessories as is? or do I have to sand them, primer them, then paint them. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. - Slobo
