  1. Hello everyone. I have a 2006 Cayman S, with the Bose radio. I wanted to know if anyone has any information regarding having factory navigation unit, retrofited. (or an Alpine or similar after market unit installed -this would require rewiring everything due to the fiber optics.) I have an external GPS unit, but it keeps falling of the windshield, so I was considering an in dash system. I bought the car off the dealers lot, the price was good, but now I do realize that I need the navigation unit. (I'm in the Los Angeles area if it makes a difference) Any help will be apreciated. Thanks
  2. Hello everyone, Just found this board. I too seem to have the problem with what sounds like the hatch, when I drive over a bump. My 2006 Cayman has about 700 miles on it, and the noise seems like its getting worse. I took it back to the dealer once, but they claimed that they couldn't duplicate the noise. I will take it back again and ride with service adviser. It is rather annoying for a new car , especially when my previous car was as solid as a rock. Otherwise car is great.
