My MY99 C2 Manual when started shows the oil pressure quite high which makes me think it is distributing the oil through the engine automatically. Think that makes sense with the manula statement of not to warm the engine on idle and drive right away. -
Fuel Filler Flap

Hi Guys: Noticed the fuel filler flap on my MY99 996 C2 was not locking. Obseved the actuator "locking pin" and was not traveling enough. Also noticed the guide rose (996-624-505-02) was/is out of place. Could not reach it in order to place it correctly. Don't know why (stupid me) pulled the emergency emrgency operator (996-201-493-00) thinking it may make the actuator "locking pin" more free to travel and go out enought to lock the filler plap but used too much power and basically everything was sucked inside. :oops: :cursing: How can I reach/repair that part? Does the fender has to be taken apart from the body? Hope not. :help:

Regardless of the recommended oils brand: Castrol Syntec 5W-40 5W-40 ncp GL, Mobil 1 0W-40 ncp GL (factory fill), Mobil 1 5W-40 ncp GL, Mobil 1 5W-50 ncp GL, Mobil 1 Tri-Synthetic Formula 0W-40 ncp GL, Texaco Havoline Synthetic 5W-40 ncp GL, should I use the same weight for a 78K miles MY99 911 weekend driver in Miami, Fl?

Hi Guys: My MY99 996 has 225/40Z R18 92Y (Front) and 265/35Z R18 97Y (Rear) Ventus (made by Hankook) tires. The side walls shows a 50 PSI Max on both front and rear tires. The Porsche manual shows 36psi for the front and 44 psi for rear tires. What presure should the front and rear tires have? When should the presure be measured?

At last got my dream car, 1999 996 Porsche Coupe. Any body has a manual for sale? In the city, can the car be driven on 5th without any consequences? What brand is the Radio CR-210, can the amp be used with aftermarket CD receivers?
