  1. I did not change the plugs they told me it was not necessary, no check engine light or codes come up. I do think is my clutch since now i have to disingage the clutch completelly in order for the car to move if I have it pressed even a little the car will not move.. What clutch do you guys recommend? I spoke to the guys over at RPM (Long Island) about the boost and 1.4 bar and they are telling me to take my car back so they can check to see what it can be.. I will keep everyone posted thank you very much JP
  2. Hello everyone, I am having an issue with my 996TT I just finished a stage 3 (Fabspeed Exhaust, Diverter Valves, V-Flow Intake, ECU Flash Evolution) I was driving on the highway on my way back from the shop and noticed that on third or fourth gear at about 4000RPM when I flored the gas pedal the car felt like it was slipping or maybe is just the wheels that slipped... If I try to speed up on third or fourth the RPMS jump from 4000 to 6000 really fast as if I was on top of water, I tend to drive with the Traction controll off I find it its much funner, has anyone experienced something similar? How can I test to make sure its not a Clutch or Transmission problems? The clutch is not making any weird noises and it seems to work perfect changing gears and releasing.. By the way this was not happening before the upgrade, the car however jumped from 0.7Bar to 1.4Bar, it runs like a whole new car the power is incredible but now I am having this problems. Also my tires do seem like they are a bit worn out so I am hoping thats the problem. Thank you for any help
  3. Thanks for the help, can you recomend a 5Bar FPR? Loren: I know that is a big difference in price, could it be due to that they take the Turbos directly from Borg Warner? This is the company that sell them and on the homepage they show the item as sold out even though they sell it on ebay, they have good bidding history on ebay so I dont think that the try to scam. http://www.qualityimportparts.com/epcvsoap...lityimportparts Did you end up buying them? They are still selling the same package and I have a 2004 tt, if you did buy them have you installed them and are they working normal? what company did you go with for the ECU Flash? Any help is appreciated
  4. My friend is trying to sell me a pair of K24 Turbos from a GT2 with very low miles. I have been told that you can get up to 600hp by swaping the stock turbos on my 996tt with the ones from the GT2 and doing a few other mods like ECU, headers, exhaust etc... What should I check for in the turbos? Is it just a bad idea to buy them used?(even if its just $1500) Does anyone have advise on what Software to use when modifying the ECU? Thank you for all the help!! JP
  5. Let me ask you, I am going through the same issues with my 2004 996 TT, I want to do some mods to it and needed some advise. Why did you choose the Upsolute ECU mod VS other players like GIAC and EVOLUTION?? My car already has an aftermarket exhaust and short shift, I am making my list of goodies. I have been thinking of going with the EVOLUTIONS ECU upgrade any thoughts?? Thank you
