  1. Need some help. I got a 1999 carrera cabriolet with 15,000 miles on it. Bought it used about 8 months ago. The engine compartment fan has never come on... Even when driving it it hot weather. My temperature guage reads a little over 180, but still the engine cooling fan does not come on.. Any advise on how to check the fan or engine sensor? Alfic
  2. Thanks guys. You're great! I found the cable, opened the hood, and love my car again! Ordered a battery maintainer also!
  3. Thanks for bring up this topic, but I still can't find the cable to open my hood. I have a 1999 996 C2 Cabriolet. I pulled down the passenger side wheel cover and still can't find that cable. I even flipped open the side marker. Where exactly should I be looking? high side/low side? Toward the front? Is it a covered cable or is it a bare wire? Help.....
