  1. Hi, I've decided to upgrade my M490 to M680 and add rear speakers. I've bought the following from eBay: 1. M680 DSP amp (part # 986.645.312.00) 2. DSP control unit (part # 996.645.201.02) 3. OEM rear speakers installed in the "box" After bringing it to CarToys, their installer said that I need the wiring harnesses to connect the amp, control unit, and speakers. What parts should I order from Porsche? My car is 2000 Boxster with M490, CDR-220, dash and door speakers. I called my local Porsche dealer and they were not helpful. Please help and thanks, Iwan
  2. Hi Bill, I was at a dealership the other day asking this question to a service advisor and he basically had no recommendation. Hope people in this forum have some. Iwan
  3. Hi, Does anyone know how to improve the FM radio reception of CDR22? Will the DSP unit help? After-market antenna, maybe? My 2000 Boxster has amp and door speakers. I'm trying not to replace the system because I don't drive much and kind a like to keep everything original, but hate the fact that radio reception is pretty bad in certain parts of the road I drive often. I don't have this problem with my Audi Allroad which has Bose system. Appreciate any ideas/opinions... Thanks, Iwan
  4. I'm thinking to add dsp to my 2000 Boxster. At the moment I have (top to bottom) cup holders, CDR220, CD holders, and AC control unit. I plan to remove the CD holders and put the DSP control panel there. What part number is for the trim to hold the DSP control panel in place? BTW, does the dsp improve the sound quality? I read mostly bad reviews about the DSP. Cheers...
