  1. I think you have to turn the key on the driver side door twice clockwise in 1 second, the car closes without alarm. Greeting from Germany, Rainer.
  2. Well, it looks exactely like the 996 conv after facelift, because only genuine parts were used. As I mentioned before, the frame, all mechanics and the hood were changed. Thanks, Rainer.
  3. Ok, the complete top was changed yesterday. Not a big deal: 3 hours work and a calibration. Works and looks great! But there is still the question, how do I connect the hardtop defroster with the softtop? Thanks, Rainer.
  4. Hi! I want to change my old roof from a prefacelift 996 to a postfacelift 996´s roof. I bought a complete roof with all the mechanics. It will be mounted on monday. The thing I would like to know is: How is the rearwindow defroster wired. The prefacelift has wiring for the hardtop but not for the softtop window of course. Where is the wiring in the new top and how do I have to connect it to my old car? Any experiences? Thanks, Rainer, Germany.
  5. Hi there, I am interested in some information about the 996 facelift GSM Antenna. Could anyone please give me more informations where it is mounted and some pictures would be great. Thanks, Rainer, Germany.
  6. Hi there, I am also interested in some information about the 996 facelift GSM Antenna. Could anyone please give me more informations where it is mounted and some pictures would be great. Thanks, Rainer, Germany.
