    supercharger kit is finished but we are waiting for custom computer for the car. i heard it's coming out sometime end of october.

    i'm getting very first vortech supercharger for my 996 in two weeks. this kit used vortech supercharger with custom brackets. i'm hoping for extra 120+rwhp at 5psi. :D i'll update you guys later on.

    thx loren i have loosen the center screw but it didn't fix the problem. is there adjustment in the trans?

    my shift knob will not center itself. it was like this with factory shifter and oiling the cables didn't help. what should i do? thx

    just finished installing the b&m shifter and i have to say it works great. it took me about 2hours and now car is more fun to drive. thanks for helping me out.

    what do you mean by marking the cables? where is it? i have never done cars with cables. i always had front engine rear wheel drive cars. Thx btw, i got the b&m from www.2fam.com for $210.--. sale was over but still great price. :)

    i have local porsche shop and they want $150 to install the shifter. is it worth the price or should i do it? i have done many installs on other cars but never on p-car. thx

    hello, i'm thinking about adding B&M shifter to my 996. i have shopped around for deal and best i found was $254.-- do you guys know where i can get good deal on shifter. also, is it hard to install? i need to get one by thursday afternoon and i'm in Virginia. Thx

    my car is 3.4L 1999 C2. Stock pistons in 3.4L engine, are they strong enough to handle boost? I have found a company who just finished the supercharger kit using vortech blower. Thx

    i'm thinking about doing some after market upgrades to my 996 but i have few tech guestions. 1. what is the stock compression ratio for 1999 996 c2? 2. stock pistons are they forged? 3. stcok rods are they forged for billet? 4. is stock crank shaft forged? 5. what is the piston ring gap on top ring? 6. what are the factory camshaft specs? anyone here supercharged or turbocharged their 996? what are the problems? thx
