  1. I am trying to insall a CDC-4 CD Player into a 2007 997 Carrera S. The car is already fitted with Radio, PCM, Navigation system, no telephone and currently no CDC-4 CD Player. I have managed to complete the mechanical installation using the TSB 9160. The information shown in the TSB for the electrical / fiber optic does not match the car. So I have two problems to overcome. The first is the electrical wiring to the CD Player. There is no connection point in the existing harness contrary to what is suggested in the TSB. Anyone know from where the electrical connection is to be made and if there is a standard part number? Or do I have to hook into the one that is installed for the Navigation? The second is the fiber optic cable connection to the CD player. In looking at posting 3479 by Loren I have Radio/PCM with Navigation but I am now sure what LL RL and USA mean and hence which parts I should obtain. Given that the optical waveguide connection is already installed for the Navigation I am presuming that I will need a fiber optic cable to connect from the LWL interconnection point to the CD player. Does anyone know if this is correct? And if so is it to position 6 and what would the correct cable number be? Presuming that I get this done I will post a note to help others do their install just as done by Poursha.
