  1. Has anyone else had this problem? You crank the motor over to start it and it seems like there is a smal delay and its slower then most start ups...it has a new battery from Porsche from the previous owner...not sure if it needs a new battery of if its something else....any suggestions?
  2. I installed the Eibachs about 2 weeks ago, I also compared the springs side by side. The Eibach springs were a little taller themselves...I wouldn't worry about it. Install them let them settle for about a month then get an alignment with a full tank of gas. The stock springs have more resistance compared to the sports. The car will look nice once they are installed.
  3. Hello guys, I was just curious if anyone else has installed any type of Parrot bluetooth products in your guy's cars. Here is the diagram for it, I was just going to splice and tap into my existing wires since I dont have any wiring harnesses. There are wires like mute 1,2, and 3....wtf...I am lost...hahah any help would be greatly appreciated....Thanks!!! :D http://www.parrot.biz/documents/en/support...ot3200_3400.pdf

  7. Do you guys know if Pentosin coolant is ok to use on a 99' 996? Much cheaper then factory and I heard Pentosin makes it for Porsche..
  8. I was wondering how other 996 front seats are doing, I just recently picked up a 996 and the front seats look like they are starting to wear..I have grey leather. Do you guys recommend the dye? what are my options here? any suggestions? thx!!

  12. I was curious if anyone knew if a 01-03 911 front turbo bumper will fit on a 99' 911 carrera. Will it bolt right up or do I need the 911 turbo reinforcements..any feed back appreciated...thanks!!!
  13. Dan's precision alignments (Encinitas) is pretty good, he works on mercedes, bmw, porsche, and trucks...all he does is suspension and alignment work. He does local body shop repair issues as well. Tell him Doug from Brads referred you, his number is 760-753-0481
  14. Hello guys, I am new to the board and I am looking at a 99' carrera with 64k miles on the clock. It does need a clutch and prob a rms since someone will be in there. What does a clutch and rms normally run about? Say the car is in good condition, no aero kit...just a stock carrera. And..what if i just bought the car as-is...(needing clutch and rms), what is the value of the vehicle in that condition? Thanks for your guys' help!!
