  1. Loren, thank you for answering, I had a vendor send me an email and said that they have two 9A1-102-211-01 in stock, they are in clearance and are not accepting returns unless the part is damaged. If I get 9A1-102-211-01 wil i need any additional parts? Thank you for your response. Manrixx
  2. Hi Everyone, I need to replace the belt tesnionser on a 2009 C2s. I found part number: 9A1-102-211-01 to be the correct part number. However, it seem to have been discontinued and it has been replaced with serveral parts: Tensioner-9A1-102-212-00, Lever-9A2-102-211-00, Drive Belt Tensioner Lever Bolt Cap -948-102-839-00, and Drive Belt Tensioner Lever Bolt -99-073-579-0. Is this correct? Does anyone hace any experice changin this item? Thank you, Manrixx
  3. I looked and they need replacement. I also see that one of my upper control arms is gonee too. What do you think about replacing them with powerflex any experience them? Thank you, Manrixx
  4. Hi everyone, I was looking under the C2S in order to prep for the water pump and i noticed that one of my rear shocks is leaking. I have PASM and those shocks aren't cheapp. I shopped around and ended up ordering both shocks. It's alway a good idea to change them in pairs. My question is are there any other parts that i should change while i have the shocks out? Might as well do it now. Thank you, Manrixx
  5. Hi everyone, I'm going to change the water pump on my 2009 C2S. The car is whinning and it sounds just like my old 2002 996 when the waterpump needed replacement. While I'm there I'm putting in a new rib belt, new thermostat, and new tensioner. Anything else that I should be changing while I'm doing this? Also, does anyone have a coolant bleeding instructions for this engine? Thanks in advance. Manrixx.
  6. In that case I'll stick to Porsche's recommendation. Do you know if a digram exists illustrating the drain plugs and the socket sizes? Thank you, Manrixx
  7. I'll do my research to make sure i have the right tools and know the location of the fill and drain plugs. I want to get lots of miles of this vehicle, definilty going to be on top of the maintenance. Do you know which fuild is the correct one, I found two at suncoast. 1. http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/00004320420L.html?Category_Code=997_Carrera_S_G2_Enginetran 2. http://www.suncoastparts.com/product/99991754600.html?Category_Code=997_Carrera_S_G2_Enginetran thank you!
  8. Hi Everyone,. I'm a very happy owner of a 2009 C2s 6-speed, it has 60k and I have no ducumentation about the transmission fluid having been chaged. The oil has been in there for at least 6 year and I'd like to change it now. Has anyone changed their transmission oil? I know it s 75w90 but I' don't know about the capacity nor the type GL4 or GL5. I searched for a DIY but no luck. All assistance is greartly appreaciated. Thank you, Manrixx
  9. Thank you wwilliams88. I hope to get more responses. I'd be great to see how many have had this engines with little maintenance.
  10. Do you drive with your foot on the clutch pedal all of the time? I also heard that a switch inside the tranny can cause this light to come on. I'm very interested in wha you find.
  11. Hi Everyone, I've been a long time fanantinc of the 911. I had a 2002 996 for five years with no issues I put 110k miles on it. All i did was brakes, tires, clutch and water pump. Awesome car before it was totalted. No IMS issues whatsoever. I found a nice 2009 997.2 C2s 6-speed, with 58k miles on it for sale at a reasonable price. It doesn't have all the options but it has everything i need. I'm curious to know how many people have owned 997.2's with over 60k miles on it. Anyone hit 100k or even 150k? Any items that had to be replaced outside of regular wear and tear? Thank you for your responses!
