  1. I have a boxster s with memory seats and the side bolsters are worn down and have some rips plus the leather is all cracked. I was able to find and buy a seat of regular seats but the problem is that they are not full power just power tllt and a manual slider. My memory seats are full leather (up, down, tilt, slide back and front) what I would like to do is just take out the cushions of the non powered seats and just swap them into the tracks/rails of my seats. Has anyone ever done this? thanks. I've tried searching and couldn't find anything except the regular unbolt of the old ones and bolt on the new ones.
  2. Sorry Loren, I guess I missed a few important details... Looking for the part number of aero rear spoiler but not the "taco" wing. Looking for 996 model number from 99-04... thanks.
  3. Looking for part number on the aero spoiler but not the "taco wing".. Thanks for any help...
  4. You will need to pull the door panel off. It might be hard to do with the door closed. Did you connect all the wires back up? If it's not locking and unlocking then no peer is coming through or the item is defective. In terms of opening the lock mechanism with the handle that's mechanical versus powered so you may not have installed the latch back on. Good luck.
  5. i've got an 02 coupe and can't seem to get one corner toward the front seatbelt. Everything else has released and it's not moving from that corner. I also couldn't find a screw that was mentioned. Is it something you can visualize from the outside or is it underneath the panel. HELP!
  6. I am stuck getting the right rear panel off. Everything is loose and the only thing holding it in is the front corner piece near the window. I also haven't seen a screw there. I don't want to break anything by yanking it off. Any help would be great.
  7. will there be a computer that would allow us to tweak our alarms such as being able to auto-lock the car after moving and unlocking when ignition is turned off?
  8. Looks like you'll need a new passenger lock latch... had the same problem but on drivers door..
  9. oh, I have a stalk for your obc hack rather than using a switch if you're interested. pm if you'd like to buy it.
  10. Welcome and congrats! Enjoy in good health.. What's the specs on car, i.e. price for a 99 going nowadays....
  11. I'm game... I've got a 4 stalk for your obc if your interested. looking to get $100 that I paid for it.
  12. I borrowed a buddies boxster s today and it was driving fine initially as I have driven it before. Later in the day while driving and shifting I noticed that there was a strange type of pulsating in clutch pedal when releasing the clutch into or out of gear. when engaging a gear it feels like its resisting and pulsating back at you versus just freely letting go. I've driven many boxsters and 996 so I know its not my driving. The car does shift fine but when you let go of the clutch it always feels that way with engine on or off. Car only has 55k miles on it... What do you guys think?
  13. I looked in the classifieds and could not find them for sale. I'm in the same boat with really early '99 head lights. I want a fix for them or new headlights. It's in the items for sale wanted section on the forum. Just looked there and it's there. For sale boxster/carrera litronics headlights.
  14. what's the 02 with the broken aos running for? there was a deal on a 02 c2 in los angeles with about 50k miles asking $20k.. sounds like a good deal..
  15. I've got a set of litronics (hid) for sale on the classifieds...
  16. Loren, What do the car that come with the litronics as an option. Does having it come stock from the factory does the litronics self level based on the road heights or elevations like the adaptive lights in the newer cars?
  17. this one doesn't look to bad and it looks like alot of the maintenance and preventative stuff has been done already... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2000-Porsche-Boxster-S-LOW-MILES-COMPLETELY-SERVICED-/150578521852?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item230f2de6fc#ht_761wt_1167
