  1. I have an 05 Carrera S. The car has recently developed an intermittent squeeking noise that originates somewhere in the front end. It typically appears after the car has been driven for some time and it changes rate with car speed. Basically the rate of squeeking increases as car speed increases. It also seems to be more pronounces when steering to the left any amount and mostly goes away when steering slightly right. I have noticed that when the squeek does appear, any light to moderate braking will also replicate the noise. It seems like it's coming from somewhere around the front axle. Has anyone had this issue before? Any ideas as to what could be the cause? Thanks. 2005 Carrera S, Blk/Blk, PCCB
  2. I had this same exact issue. If the problem goes away when you double click the remote (which disables the interior motion sensor), then it's almost certainly a bad motion sensor. I'm not so sure that disabling the motion sensor (by double clicking the remote) also disables the trunk sensor....
  3. Hello everyone, For some time, I've been hearing a faint, high-pitch, constant tone coming from somewhere inside the cabin while driving. It's hard to locate because it happens only while driving and the engine noise mostly drowns it out. When I come to a stop, the tone stops. For a while I though it was my tinnitus acting up or something, but I can reproduce it and my fiance says she also hears it. It seems to be coming more from the front of the car/dashboard/PCM rather than the rear and only when the car is in motion. Anyone notice this before? Peter 997 Carrera S, PCCB, Black/Black
  4. Uhhh... I thought this was the 997 forum. The cup holders in the 997 are adjustable.
