  1. The HVAC system on my 2001 996tt RHD STD does not vary the temperature of the air output.Whether I adjust to 30 deg C or to 19 deg C the air output is the same temperature, very low ( I suspect the min temperature available). I have done some routine line checks, checked sensors etc but was unable to find anything to point me in the right direction. regards, james
  2. thank you for the reply and those of others. I had the same problem as you as well as the original one cited. When my warning light (message) says refill the on board computer is telling me I have 100Km or so left before a refuel is required. As suggested by others a recal sorted this problem out. AS for fuel usage, I certainly understand the "right foot" point of view. I also understand math 65 litres into the tank and 200Km =horrendous mileage. Nothing to do with whether the tank is filled or not. thanks for your time james
  3. I have a 2001 996TT which I bought used. I have replaced the fuel pump since then. I am getting only 220Km per tank of high octane gasoline. No apparent leaks, no smells of fuel-can't figure out what is going on. Would appreciate any help or direction you might be able to provide. james

  9. Sir: I have a 2000 996 TT and NAV system (located in Hong Kong). Bought the car used and can find no information on the NAV systems or discs for it. Do you know if it is a Navteq system. Right now when I start the car the display shows "guidance system de-activated". Trying to figure this out without a manual thanks james
