  1. Your coils most likely need to be replaced, see if you can get a code reader like durametric to isolate which ones. change the plugs also since they get damaged
  2. Sounds like a good idea, these do weird things when the battery starts to go
  3. I get that error with my winter wheels which have pre 08 sensors (wrong frequency) sounds like a bad sensor to me
  4. The horseshoe trim around the PCM can be replaced using a dental hook, start at the bottom of each side and gently pull, then work your way around. VERY easy The flat section has 2 screws at the back and then just lifts up and slides back as i recall, there are no more screws
  5. Without knowledge of the actual unit. Assume coolant pipes were replaced Brake Rotors / Pad due but if CPO has to be 50% left same for tires Drive Shaft ? Front Struts ? 115k is ok, I know users over 250K
  6. driving in terrain mode n the freeway would be inherently unstable and PSM would not be happy
  7. The one with the gray sponge around is the Fiber circuit for the CDC
  8. Audio will work, I think someone has done this Errors will occur tho if DVD Drive is not present, can be annoying
  9. Most likely the oil change peeps were not very careful, I have seen the covers wired closed because of loose / broken connectors
  10. And that is the only way to turn AC off, its normally on for all other conditions
  11. The cinch shut system was not on all 04's not sure what the option was, but at the time there was discussion about why some worked and some did not. Dealers generally fixed under warranty but not sure what they did apart from adjusting
  12. Without a real PIWIS Licence they cannot get the manufacturing codes for your VIN. The fact that the ran the battery down tells me that they do not know how to use it since the first rule of PIWIS is Put the Battery on charge first. I think they broke the ECU, never heard of an ECU frying
  13. I saw a diy on how to get them apart and back together once. Bought one from ebay and can no longer find the diy :-( dumb@$%
  14. ipods do not continuously charge, they achieve 100% state and go into a quiescent state. Have had an iPod in my Cayenne(s) since 2003 and never ran down the battery
  15. I think you need to get this hooked up to PIWIS, sounds to me like its thinking a module that is not present is present. I would like to see the list of components the MOST system lists
  16. This indicates that the compressor is running to much (to me) eventually you will need to maintain it but the cause sounds more like a leak somewhere. dealer
  17. remember you may have to set the height again using PIWIS although I think Durametric can do it
  18. Sorry Colin, thought I sent you a PM. Porsche has cut off access to the VIN system sorry
