  1. I had FVD headers, sport cats and a remapped DME installed on my 01S. The work was done by my dealer. The reason for doing the upgrade was more for enhanced exhaust sound than performance. Out the door the cost was $5,700 or so. I also had a PSE installed several years earlier. Another $2,000. RESULTS: The sound is fabulous, so my 1st goal was achieved albeit at a handsome price. As far as performance I feel the car is more responsive but I really didn't notice much other than that. But, that wasn't my goal in the 1st place. At last my Boxster sounds like a PORSCHE albeit at a handsome price. Would I do it again, no question, I would as long as I had the cash to do it right.
  2. I realize I'm on a Porsche Board but I need some help. In switching to winter wheels/tires this evening I broke the pin that you use as a guide in mounting the wheels on the wheel hub on my wife's A4. Now I have the broken end of the pin where the 5th lug bolt should go. What's the consensus out there, will it be OK to drive the Audi, maybe 100 easy miles, until Friday and I can buy an easyout to remove the broken part of the pin? Second question, has anyone tried to remove one of these broken pins, I assume it's no big deal to back it out, it only in finger tight? Thanks. 01S Seal Grey, Blk, Blk
