  1. Help, I just replaced my battery down at the local autozone and everything went very smooth. They took the old one, swapped in the new, connected it back up and car started up with no issues. But on my way home, the Battery / Charger Light came on (the Dash). I carefully drove it into the garage and shut her off. So as I look through the manual, they state that the battery light coming on is a big enough deal to immediately stop the car. Does anyone know how a simple swap of the battery could cause the Battery Light to come on? And what I could do to fix this issue. Thanks in advance for any responders! Could this be an alternator issue? Hopefully its not something serious but its been one of those months with this car! :( Needs new CV boots on the left rear, needs new right rear bearing, had new tires recently put on, and during the 60K mile maintenance, new brake pads, new right rear CV boots and a few other minor things repaired). So its been quite a money pit...but you gotta love the drive! :renntech: BTW - 2002 Boxster S. Replaced the original Moll battery with the Duralast 48-DL.
