  1. Hi guys, trying to solve an issue on a buddies 2001 turbo, the car had a dead battery, a float charger was placed for 3 months but is was still dead. Attempted boosting the car via another car and it would turn over slowly. Someone trying to “help” places a charger in a “boost start” mode on in conjunction with the cables already connected from the second vehicle. at this point my buddy turned it over resulting in a rapid clicking followed by absolutely no power. We we have tried a new battery, check all the fuses and checked the power distribution block at the fire wall for continuity and all check out. But absolutely no power, no 4way flashers.... nothing. He is concerned that the ECU is fried but we hoping there is a disable like somewhere that we have not found. Any ideas or help would be much appreciated thanks Shalil
  2. Hi guys, ever since my car was a couple years old I've had issues with the rear hatch latch, It always opens fine, but it's a problem to get it to closed. The latch does not suck the glass down completely once it's closed... Anyone else have this issue? Further more does anyone know where to get the part and whats involved in changing it out? the car is an 02 targa Thanks for any input! Shalil
  3. never mind, got it all done, we managed to put a small jack under the car while it was on the ramp and take the load off. What a big difference the sways make! I like the feel of the car!
  4. Hi guys i'm in the middle of my gt3 sway bar install and i'm putting on TRG links at the same time, can the front sway bar links be swapped out with the car on the ground/or on a drive on lift? looks like i have to take the strut pinch bolts out to put the new links in and i don't want the strut dropping if thats all that holds it up.... please let me know asap!! Thanks Shalil
  5. that look like it Loren!! just need the part# now and hopefully it won't cost me an arm and a leg....
  6. view from the front view from the side sorry for the links, i was having a hard time posting the pics, you can see some wire that we quickly attached just in order to get home, the piece seems to channel air toward the brakes, if they are in fact brake ducts i wouldn't mind going to the bigger ones if i need to replace them anyways....
  7. Thanks for the quick response Loren, but it's none of those, like i said it wraps up and around into the wheel well, and there are 2 of these, one on the drivers side and one on the pass side, they are far up front so they may be considered part of the brake ducting more then under tray. i'm working on getting a few pics up, will have them up in a few minutes, they may help with the description. Thanks Shalil
  8. Hi guys I had a body shop convert my front end from the stock front end to the turbo bumper, I have all the turbo ducting, however they didn't install any of it! They claimed that it didn't fit, does any of it work after the swap? I don't mind modifying it to make it work. This is on a 2002 targa. Any input would be much appreciated! Thanks Shalil
  9. Hi guys, on my last road trip a portion of the under tray on the drivers side came undone and folded under the car, resulting in the portion where the attachment holes are being destroyed. the plastic part continues into the wheel well about half the way up the front portion of the wheel well. Can someone supply me with the part # so i can get it replaced. It's on my 02 996 Targa. Thanks Shalil
  10. Hi guys, I want to install a set of GT3 sways, and needed to know if i need to unload the suspension or if i can do it while the suspension is loaded. The reason I ask is that a buddy has a drive on 4 post lift that I can use however he does not have a jack on the lift yet. So can I just drive the car on and undo the bars and swap them out or will they be under too much tension to get them off? I assume that i can do it while the suspension is loaded as the bars should only be under tension when the car is cornering....correct? Thanks Shalil.
  11. Hi guys, Following my GT3 seat install I have a air bag failure notice and the airbag light stays on. Is there a way to clear this? I've already tried to disconect the battery, but that has not worked, and I've tried a generic OBD II code reader, which didn't find any codes. Is there a specific code reader needed or another way to get rid of the code? Thanks Shalil
