  1. Hi Loren, I read with much interest your comments above re- "TSB 3/05 6006 Targa Glass Sliding Cover Lift Binder Mechanism Causes Rattling Noises -- dated 3-31-2005", as I have an immaculate 2002 996 targa which I have owned for three years, and have to say I just enjoy it more & more. However the roof rattles intermittently and this has gradually got worse. I asked my local Porsche dealership about above TSB, and the service manager said he had never heard of it, but might perhaps be able to look it up!! He did not seem interested, and was not even really prepared to admit that targas can/do rattle. Now I would like to pursue this, and cannot get anywhere with my local dealer in Sussex, (England - I am a very new member of your forum - which I see as American?). I've read also on this site the 6006 modification is a DIY job, and just a matter of a couple of seals. How can I go about obtaining and fitting these? (I would be prepared to await delivery from anywhere if it prevents the rattle - which REALLY IRRITATES me). I would very much appreciate your help if possible. I too am a Posche nut, having previously owned 993 targa, 944 & many years back 924! I look forward to hearing from you. Paul C
