  1. Well, I have finally had the i-Pod kit installed. I am not an audiophile and I suspect that the quality is not right up there with other systems, but it is a very neat piece of kit. The only real frustration is that you have to turn the i-Pod itself on and remember also to turn it off when you are finished. Otherwise I would have no hestitation recommending it. Cheers for now and thanks for the comments, Bryan
  2. I have purchased an official Porsche i-Pod kit (part number 997 04490170) for my '04 997 C2S (6sp, RoW spec). It has not come with any installation instructions. Has anyone figured out how wiring interfaces with the PCM? Any comment or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance...
  3. Hello from Wellington, New Zealand Has anybody retrofiited the airbag deactivation kit?, I have a 2004 997 C2S 6sp, in RHD RoW spec. Is there a TIB, and if so how do I get hold of a copy? . Thanks in advance...
  4. I am trying to find a great looking 340mm steering wheel for a manual 996TT retaining the airbag. Has anyone had more luck that me?, thanks in advance
  5. Hi, I have long legs too and have been looking to see if it is poosible to do the console delete on a 996TT. I have done it in my GT3 but have been led to believe that it is not possible in the 996TT. Were there any issues?, have you looked at a 340mm steering wheel - I can't seem to find a good looking one. Happy to get any further information. Regards
