  1. I have a strange problem with the hydraulics on my rear wing. When I lift the wing, the right hand side lifts much quicker than the left and when the wing stops lifting, the right side is higher than the left. What could the issue be? Also, the banjo fittings at the base of the rams on both sides are slightly damp. Is the system low on fluid?
  2. It is a late 2000 built MY01. I knew it wasn't charging due to the status light on the charger. Which prompted me to check the lighter socket with a voltmeter - only has power when key is turned to ACC.
  3. I plugged a battery maintainer into my cigarette lighter, but it wouldn't charge. I then got a voltmeter and found that my cigarette lighter is only powered when the key is in the accessories position. I am in Australia, maybe this is why?
  4. Why were there 3 different OEM tire fitments on 996TT? * Pirelli Pzero assimetrico * Continental sport contact 2 * Michelin Pilot sports Which tires are better?
  5. Its an MY01 Do you know, Loren? Thanks in advance.
  6. I need the part number for the interior light lense for a 996TT. The car does not have the auto dipping rear view mirror. Also, I am in Australia, does anyone know where I can order it from to have it sent to Australia?
  7. Hi guys, I'm from Sydney Australia. I have just bought an immacualte 2001 996TT with 25,000kms. I have a few questions. I know the factory fill oil is Mobil 1, but what viscocity is it? Over here we can get 0W30, 0W40 and 5W50, I'm thinking of using 5W50 or 0W40. Or should I use a different brand? The temperature here is typically 10 degrees C to 35 degrees C. Also, is there anywhere I can download or buy a shop manual for the car? Thanks in advance
