  1. Hi all. The previous owner of my 928 swears I have the correct radio (CR-210) code: 1224. When I tried to enter it in place of the C O D E message, the 1 kept blinking, but no radio started. After a few tries, I began punching other buttons. "WAIT" appeared in the window, and nothing will get rid of it, not even disconnecting/reconnecting the battery, removing/replacing the radio face plate. Of course no buttons operate. I tried the press-and-hold-TP-for-30-seconds thing, the press-the-tone-button-then-8-&-0-together thing. Nothing happens at all. There are no numbers above the buttons, so I don't even know which ones are 8 and 0. What should I do? (What should I have done?) Any help will be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hi Penny. How did you get the information about type and number that you posted? I have no paper work on my CR-210. Also, when you entered the codes that were suggested to you, what procedure did you use? Just replace CODE with the four digit number? And then the first number kept blinking. What did you do? Thanks for passing along the information you already got. Nancy
