  1. I have a 99 cab. At high RPMs it smokes like a train. I have found it to be some sort of oil burn on the outside of the # 1 header pipe. I have had a friend verify it is not coming out of the exhaust pipe, but rather around the exhaust, the way he determined this was he "tried" to follow me closely and watch. It is like it is leaking oil at high pressure. Could it be coming from either around the # 1 coil or possibly the sleeve that contains the # 1 coil. My assumption from replacing a coil my self is that oil circulates around those sleeves. Reason I beleive this is because I pulled a sleeve out by mistake on the # 6 cylinder when putting a new coil in. I have not verified any of this info so any and all help would be appreciated. If there is a porsche mechanic out there that is willing to help out a "shade tree" mechanic like myself I would be ever so greatful. Thanks George
  2. Is the twin turbo deck lid a direct bolt on to a 99 narrow body carerra? I an interested in puttting one on and need to know if it will bolt on and what about the plugs for the electronics on the mechanics for the motorized top tail? Thanks in advance George
  3. If you are facing the motor from the rear of the car, which is cylinder # 1 , #2, #3, etc.? I have a misfire on # 5 and need to change the coil out but don't know which one is # 5??? ANy help??? Please?? A link to a schematic of the engine and foring order would be great??? George
