    Thanks guys, And Jeff - you're right - I guess they will fail an MOT test in the UK (I haven't got either the automatic leveling or the washers - don't know if it is possible to get a washer kit.) I guess I will be putting the originals back in for my yearly test! Thanks, Alan.

    Thank you Loren, I have tried exactly that and the Litronics are now working! They initially blew the 7amp fuses - So I have replaced with 15amps - do you know what rating of fuse I should use? Thanks, Alan.

    Hi, Can anyone offer some advice?: I've just purchased some Litronic headlights to retrofit to my '98 996 - After some initial trouble with the light spanner (it seems slightly too big..) I managed to get the lights out. On putting the Litronics back in, I've only been able to get the 'side-lights' working. I've noticed from other postings that this can be a problem with the connectors within the car. Can anyone recommend any kind of cleaner to clean the connectors? Thanks, Alan.

    Hi, I've just purchased a '98 996 and have a problem with the PCM1 unit. The unit is registering 0 satelites on reception - so, I removed the PCM1 unit from the dash and have found two cables the cables on the back - 4 blocks plug into the unit and the FM & GPS lead. The back of the unit has a place for the FM aerial lead but no where to plug the GPS - Is this my problem???!! or is this just a red-hearing i.e. is the gps signal connected via one of the alternative connection blocks.     I recently bought a '98 996 and the pcm1 is showing a location is the states (I'm in London, UK!) - can anyone tell me how to recalibrate the pcm1? It looks like someone may have a manual! - If you do, could you email me some details? email: ross_aj@hotmail.com Thanks folks!
