New member needs help. The wood trim on my 911 carrera cab is loose at several point on dash and door. What glue is best to reattach these components. I understand that removal of all old glue is critical for proper adhesion and I have found toulene will do the trick quite well and not hurt the finish on the veneer but great care is needed next to the leather. The substrate underneath the veneered areas seems to have "layers" and a grain direction. This I have cleaned also with good results using toulene most carefully. Porsche will not supply glue except with replacement pieces is what I have been told by local dealer. Any answers about what glue/s will work and truly last? Many thanks for any experienced help!!
