  1. I am thinking about lowering with H&R sport springs, but I read on other sites that you should not lower due to risk of hitting the oil pan/lower engine block. Have any of you had any issues? Did you add an engine protection pan? Thanks!
  2. Your car looks great - I am also thinking about lowering with H&R springs (already purchased, not installed), but I read several posts on PCA that it is bad idea to go any lower than ROW M030 because of potential risk of hitting the oil pan/engine block. Have you had any issues? I believe the H&R quotes about an 1" lower all around versus the M030 are 20mm F/10mm R (which isn't much difference). Your thoughts would be appreciated!
  3. thank you - that is the exact information I was looking for; didn't want to make an expensive mistake!
  4. There is a lot of great information regarding replacement suspension components i.e. pss9/10, h&r..., but not a lot of information on the required tools. That said, what would you recommend for: 1. Strut spring compressor - is there a preferred type i.e. clamshell or double hook and screw type? 2. Ball joint seperator (I believe this is required to remove the front strut on a C4) And one final question - once you've lowered the car are engine belly protection pans suggested? Thx, Mark
