  1. Another option is the mobridge unit , supposedly developed specifically for apple equipment it is supposed to have an even better interface than the dension unit. Unlike the dension it will only work with apple equipment and has no USB capability, though it does connect with hte i phone. The dension also allows for expansion to include bluetooth hands free and voice dialling through the PCM menu.

Actually the mObridge Bluetooth solution has been out and about for a number of months now also with a fully integrated Parrot unit and iPod connection all in a single unit. It also provides a dual beamforming microphone for better echo cancellation.

Our unit also provides 5V USB charging, and always has, so unlike 90% of other iPod devices out there, we will charge your iPhone when plugged.

    cheers,

    Karl

  2. Also be aware that the mObridge doesnt support the latest Ipod generations, i.e. no ipod nano 3rd gen, no ipod classic 5th and 6th gen, no ipod touch at all. Not sure about the Dension. But from what i know the Dension unit works with the newer ipods with some limitations.

    Hi Chriz,

mObridge does support the latest iPod generations. We have the 3rd Gen Nano, Classic and Touch all working just fine and many customers with this working fine also. I suggest you upgrade to the latest iPod software that was released about 1 week ago if you are having any problems.

    Kind regards,

    mObridge Support Team
